Housewarming, Etc...

The housewarming went fantastic. Thanks to a very awesome ET. Not only was she here for all the prep, the "party keg" was amazing! We played games, ate food, drank and kept going until almost 4am! Only to stick around eating and drinking the rest of the weekend (while watching the badgers/packers play!)

*pics to come soon*

Thursday was Vicki's birthday party at Notte. This was one of those nights that just seem to get away from you. It didn't help that I took up a collection for bottle 3 and 4 of grey goose. Oh well! Everyone had an awesome time. After a quick jaunt to George Webbs, I was ready to crash for the night (and the next day). Alas, I had to work, which sucked. But only til about 330. I was feeling alright by then.

Friday night we watched Angelo, my friend EZ's 15 mo old son. He was adorable! I have never met a child so young that adjusted so quickly to mom leaving. He LOVED Tim. They played and played and played. Even when I put the boys down for bed, Tim still would open his eyes and play peek-a-boo with Angelo. It was too adorable.

Saturday was Liz's birthday. We all gathered at her BF's place DT for an afternoon of homemade tamales, award-winning chili and Kristi's famous margaritas. The experimental pumpkin tamales turned out amazing!! It was such a good time, but man were we tired. Plus, there was still so much housework to get done.

Today is the Packer game at our place and a delicious cookout to enjoy this beautiful weather. A little half-time bocce ball and peanut butter brownies. Tonight is my father-in-law's birthday dinner in Mequon. I am surprised at how much we accomplished considering how crazy busy we have been.

Soon to come are Jeff & Emily's wedding, MN to see Shonda and KT & Quinn, Tim's 10 year reunion, Ann & Todd's wedding then it's almost Christmas. YIKES! Where does the time go??

New Pics

An old one, but the little lady is finally big enough to wear the outfit I got her. Too cute, Peanut!

Ahhh yes, a sweet find of the Packers v Lions game a few years back. Oh the memories.

3rd of July fireworks at Summerfest. The only face shot of me is sipping a beer.

Super funsies night out with Sara and Chris. Too bad someone has mono... booo.

To finish it all off, the group (menos Erin cuz she's taking the picture) at Ella's during homecoming. Super fun weekend!

All in a days work

Today is my day off. What did I accomplish? It feels like a very small amount, but I guess it adds up. And it isn't even 2pm!

Today, I woke up late, aka slept in. After a quick shower and a bit of tidying, it was off to the DMV. Time to finally re-instate my WI driver's license. I was sad to see my expensive, flexible MN license go, but it was worth it. On the up side, it is the best photo I have had on an ID ever.

Then to Target for some cleaning supplies. After that Sentry for some groceries. Then a quick stop at work to drop off my paperwork. I came home after to start on cooking.

I made about 6 dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies. Yes, some of those will be making their way to TN!! Then, I threw together a lovely Strawberry Chocolate Tiramisu. It is for our Boss' Day pot luck. The boss was out of town, so we are observing it tomorrow. Yum!

Now, on to Spanish homework and some laundry. It seems like such a small amount, but I sure accomplished lots!
